Seriously Overpriced Cars
Discussion
I'll start off with this. I suppose the dealer is chancing his arm just a bit.

Any BMW CSL with low miles. All are silly money at the moment.
Yep...but it's just down to hype and cartelism. Whilst punters remain unable to see through this the game can still be played. Once sufficient numbers have been fleeced the cartels move on to some other car or model and do the same all over again.I actually don't think the CSLs are by any means the "worst culprit" at the moment. At least they are both an exciting thing to drive and have a reasonable rarity. I'd place something like the Mercedes Pagoda far higher up the ranking! Pretty? Yes...Rare?...No...Any good to drive?...Absolutely bloody well not! Worth anything like the money?....LMAO!
Various flavors of Porsche 911, prices of some are just insane. That RS 4.0 going for more than the price of a Carrera GT a few months ago springs to mind. The M3 CSL is an example who's value has just sky rocketed in no time at all. A couple years ago I had my heart set on one as a potential purchase for when we sold a property. By the time we'd got the house up to scratch and sold it the cost of a nice 30-40k mile example had gone from low to mid twenties to well into the forties. Ridiculous. Bought a Z4M instead.
