Coming from a very non-religious background. I find this all very sad indeed. The irony is Bush banging on about Islamic fundamentalism.

I'm good minded to go to these backwaters as a science evangelist.

I'll admit I find A Clockwork Orange a disturbing film, but Dogma is fantastic! Heaven forbid anybody asks questions about Christianity!?

how about this

"
While many people indeed seem to value their dogs more than humans, we cannot permit elevatation of the dog to human status. God clearly gave us dominion over the beasts of the earth. If we were to elevate the dog to human status, we would indeed be lowering the human to the dog level. Thus, I cannot justify derating the movie based on plotting to kill dogs."

the film 101 dalmations FFS...

I think this site reminded me why im agnostic !!!

The grip these people have on reality is tenuous at best. Still, good for a giggle

And hell's bells, they found this in Out Of Sight, a 'bold anatomical reference'.
That'll be the one where George eyes up J Lo's rump then.

Brilliant! These people even managed to find something like inspector gadget or honey i shrunk ourselves unacceptable (ok, so they are, but they picked all the wrong reasons.)

We need to find someone to go round to the reviewers and make fart noises at them. Theyd probably die on the spot.

emailed hte link to my brother, he replied:

To be fair the story of Jesus' life would get a pretty low score, born
outside of marriage (and the father knew nothing of it), a disruptive
child Jesus caused havoc from his first breath. Scenes of drinking,
using gods name in vain, brutality and a crucifixion must mean that this
is one of the most violent stories of all time. Certainly not
appropriate for good Christian children.
