....you bought a 10 month old 6 cylinder manual turbo coupe in 1995, in bright red with black leather interior, aircon and sunroof, had it serviced 1 or 2 times every year at the main dealer, and kept it for 20 years, bringing the total mileage up to just 14,000 (with every MOT certificate to authenticate that).

In stunning, original condition - what would it be worth?

I bought just such a car today, it's sat here now and it really is a very lovely thing indeed cloud9 Hopefully destined for a collector/enthusiast to own and cherish. If only it was a 911 and not a Mitsubishi 3000GT it would be worth many multiples of its actual value....

I made a slight error with this - having checked the documentation more carefully it'clear that it is really just one owner, the lady that bought it new (at 50 years old) originally registered it to her company, then herself from 10 months old.

As per the request, here's a link with more details

It looks like it should be in a museum but feels like it could be driven everyday - you can't choose your customers but I hope whoever buys it is somewhere in the middle.

Very nice. Looks absolutely mint. I know they were never that popular but I always had a soft spot for them.

Didn't Evo once suggest that they were "a lot of awful car for the money"?

I worked in a Volvo/Mitsubishi dealership when these were new. The Boss's son had his head under the open bonnet of one in the showroom. I came along and sounded the horn of that car. My, how he banged his head when the horn made him jump! I wasn't in favour for a few days after that...

Wow this looking in as new condition. Yes it'd be great if we could read 2018 classified adverts to see what 2nd hand prices were like of today's affordable classics. I know someone who bought 5 Ferrari 550's in 2012/13 when they were sub £40k. He remortgaged his house as he thought they were too cheap. He added a further 4 or 5 in early 2014 and fair play to him he is now sitting on a 50% increase in value in little over 18 months!!
