Opinions please - alloys
Discussion
I have just bought an E36 328i convertible and I am looking for a nice set of alloys for it as it comes with standard 15'' wheels which frankly look a bit naff.
Does anyone have any opinions on what size is best to go for (i.e. will 18's ruin the handling?). Also, if anyone has any for sale or knows the best place to look for them, please let me know (preferebly in the South).
All help and opinions much appreciated !
Cheers

Paul,
Thats the same address as the PH one and it bounces once more, so here's what I was sending, I've got no secrets from PHer's
The wheels are original Alpina 'softline' alloys with Yokohama tyres.
The softline style are the ones with the valve hidden under the centre
cap, the alloys are complete with all badges, all centre caps, lock
covers, keys, and lock cover hooks.
One of the alloys is almost new, with a nearly new Yokohama on it, the
others have 'legal' Yoko's of a slightly different style.
The alloys are in excellent condition and have been sat around for 3
years now, they were going to be a coffee table :-)
I've not got any pictures in a digital format at the moment, but I'll
see what I can do.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.

If you can get hold of a copy of the BMW 3 series accesories brochure they are on page 11 and are called "Cross spoke 78". I have only ever seen one other car (Z3) with them on, so they are quite rare.
7.5 X 17 front with 225 45 17 Dunlop Z rated
8.5 x 17 rear with 245 40 17 Michelin pilot z rated.
The wheels & tyres are all good and were all put on at the same time, lots of tyre life left. I'm thinking of changing my car so maybe better to put original wheels on, cost me £900 when new less than a year ago, please make me an offer if you are interested.
Regards
Ed
