car inspection near Amsterdam

Hi.
Is there anybody near the Amsterdam area known for car inspections?
Or alternatively somebody with knowledge around cars to form a reasonable assessment?
My mechanical know-how is largely non existent so any help or suggestions welcome.

Could you maybe give a bit more detail - do you have a particular car in mind, or a particular dealer?

I'm in Belgium (although only 10 min from the NL border) and know quite a few people in NL.

Knowledge much more in classics (British and Italian) than modern stuff.
