This has appeared twice on an American Maserati forum, and he hasn't had a single reply. Wondered if anyone here had heard of the problem?
"Purchased a new 04 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa convertible in Jan. 04...a great car. However, there is an annoying buzz heard on AM radio, {not on FM}. It is heard only when stopped and with my foot on the brake. The buzz disappears when I take my foot off of the brake, and the hillholder has dropped out. The dealer has replaced the hillholder motor assembly... but no help. Any ideas?"

Alot of US Maserati owners complain about all elements of Radio reception, especially AM - they use a slightly different tuning pattern and frequency range in the states so perhaps it is a "poor" conversion by the Maserati Head unit.
Certainly the UK unit in my car gives great FM and AM reception.
