Nice to see such 'unicorns' popping up from time to time but curious as to what the scope of work is for these 'garage queen' services and wonder if it is running on 15yr old tyres!

Owner probably couldn't stand the clash of Bordeaux with Tour de France - hence the low milage!

I can't remember if the mileage was this low, but the same colour combination belonged to the owner of Straight Eight on Goldhawk Rd in the mid-2000s.

Same car? Cannot be many in that colour combo.

EDIT: Scratch that, I think the car was Pozzi Blue

These are such great GT cars, it really seems a shame not to do any miles in one. Nowt as queer as folk...

Wow! And I'd guess more like £150k. They'll be chancing their arm I reckon.

Benchmark it against this late example with 30 per cent more miles (quelle horreur!) with an arguably 'safer' interior colour scheme and in CHD (correct-hand-drive) offered at CHF125k (call it £100k imported with UK VAT paid),

Now you see I love the colour combination but would NOT buy a 550 with such low mileage as I would want to use it!

Yup, that's done 7 miles in the last 7 years and only 62 in the last 12!!!!

Is it not pretty useless to anyone now? If you were looking for one to drive and enjoy, you wouldn't buy this one. If you were looking for a future investment, its not exactly top of the list is it?

risk of fire or suspension damage must be high, due to rubber perishing through lack of use.

High mileage wins here, me thinks.

To be fair I looked at a 2007 Classic and Sports car magazine which had a 1973 Daytona for sale at £120,000 and the same car is for sale today for £620,000.

The 550 would be a great investment for someone who can afford to put it away for a few years.

Perhaps some dealers offer a mail-order 'service'?
