Zondas Vs Fulcrum Racing Quatros

Does anyone have any experience with these and how that compare to the Zondas which seem to be the £300 best buy.

They're all assembled from the same parts bin. It looks like the Zondas are a Fulcrum 5 clone? The Quattros are a much deeper rim so very different beast in terms of usage. For £300 I'd stump up the extra £4.89 and get the Racing 3s. Very light wheel with a significantly upgraded hub. They spin forever and never need truing.

For me it would be Zondas, they really are a fantastic wheel- in fact probably the best wheel I've ever used. I've got a set of Dura Ace 24s and I reckon the Zondas are even better than those, for a third of the price too.

I can get the Fulcrums for £163.

Does that change things?

are these winter wheels? I may have a set of fulcrum 5's going for not a lot.. I think they're similar to quattro..

Oh and £163 is a good deal on the quattros.

I bought a set of fulcrum quattrocento in January and to be honest I wish I had not. The free hub is worn out already and the bearings are shot, can't comment one the zondas but I wish I had gone got the ultegra 6800 wheels which were the same price and also 200g lighter

Fulcrum 3's are the equivalent of the Zonda's, so quattro's v Zonda's isn't apples for apples! Zonda's are a couple of hundred gms lighter than the Fulcrums, better hub's, and slightly different rim heights making them marginally more aero (if you believe what the marketing men tell us!)....

I have the Zonda's on my Ti bike, great set of wheels, stiff, lightweight, look great - highly recommend them!
