Fastest delivery?

I was sad enough to start timing my local Chinese for delivery time. They have always been quick, less than 30 mins is very normal. But of late they have started to push the 15 mins barrier and a couple of times just ducking under 15 min.

They are 1.1 miles from me so not too far, and I generally order on a Saturday or a Friday night around 8, but that's got to be pretty quick. Order is usually wings, ribs, a main course incl rice and chips - so a mix of cooking types.

There has to be some kind of PHer award for "fastest filth delivery".... or is that a different thing all together

My Domino's Pizzas get delivered in less than 15 normally. Im one mile away from the nearest one, I often customize the pizza so its certain its not one thats been one prepared earlier.

I dont know if this is because they are not very busy or just that they are very good

Dominos is twice as far - still not that far though - but takes around 45 mins on average so I think you are doing well there.

Wow that's quick! My local Chinese takeaway on a Friday or Saturday night do well to get my order to me in under an hour and a half! Dominos on the same days usually manage within an hour, the kebab shop is about an hour and the curry house is the same as the Chinese!

Curry and Chinese are both 45-1 hour at those sort of times and rarely less than 45mins off-peak.
Papa Johns turns up in under 10 normally.

Under half an hour on a Sunday.
When they're busy, can take twice as long. Gets to a point, where I wonder if the driver got lost...

25 mins for my Chinese ordered from just eat. 1.5 miles from me, and the delivery guy even went up 4 floors to my apartment. Hardly ever hear my flat doorbell go off!
