...because I think they are commercial things and it's better to actually speak to people.

So, Merry Christmas and all the best for the long weekend ahead

Then of course there is the all the best for the new year to consider as well

All the best to you all. Glad you kept er...'control' of your motor on that journey Stefan. Have you got a woman up there or something? I can't think of any other reason to endure snowy, cold hills by car.
Have a very safe and enjoyable time.

Agreed.

:Scroogemode: I don't send (or worse, give) cards to people I see on a regular or daily basis, to whom I can say "HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Happy to post cards to friends that I'm unlikely to see in the next couple of weeks, and to friends and family that are distant.

If it's in the postal system, it's a valid Christmas card, although by recent postings it won't get there til July":scroogemode:

This Christmas I shall mostly be buggering about with the cylinder heads from the Marcos, and resting in between.

So the engine should be all sorted for next season, just in time for the next failure, whatever it may be...

Happy Christmas one and all.

I will Neil, can't believe we're only 5 miles apart (and yet so far.....)I like most of the pubs around here but would suggest The Blackwell Ox as the guest ales are good and it's halfway in between (safe carpark too) us.
The guy that runs the bar is also a petrolhead too, he has a Westy.
We'll sort something out.
Cheers.
