Bike Mileage vs Car Mileage?

I've done a decent amount of weekend fun riding this year, but commuted by car.
Did about 1200 miles on the bike by July, but nearly 11k miles in the car in that time.

Now I'm on the bike to commute each day with my new job.
Got me thinking how little I use the car (or how much I use the bike!) these days.

Since I started commuting 4 weeks ago, I've done:
328 bike miles
400 car miles (half of that in one journey!)

For a lot on here who do vastly more miles, how does your car vs bike mileage stack up?
Be interesting to see just how far people travel on their bikes!

If it's vs my Westfield then I'm on about 4x the mileage on the bike since I bought it. I've probably done less than 200 miles on the bike too!

I drove 4,000 miles last year and cycled 6,000.

My main car does 6k-ish a year. Mostly longer m/way journeys with the family.

My bike does 1.5k-2k pa commuting.

The second car never breaks 1k.

Around 3000 'leisure' miles on the bike, 15000 in the company car and about 5000 in my Golf

More on the car than the bike. But that's skewed because long trips to see relatives, up to Scotland etc are obviously done in the car. Cut those out and in an average week I'm on the bike more.

4,600 miles so far for me this year on the bike though - I don't think I'll get to last years total.

I've just turned 4,000 miles on my bikes in 2014 and will hit 5,000 this year as I did last year. I have a 2009 Scuderia that has 4,000 miles on the clock, so 800 a year, and just sold a 15 month old Boxster S that had 4,000 miles on the clock, so 3,200 miles a year.

Rode around 10,000 miles last year and drove less than 3000.

No personal car now, first time in 29 years! Family car does about 6000 inc holidays, at least that on my bikes too.

Last year was nearly 30,000 car miles, 1,000 bike miles.

This year the gap will close, but that's because I had 6 months off work travelling - I think year end will be 20,000 car(s) 2,000 bike (pleased with the bike increase).

I had a reckon up and I'm running at about 31 MPC, Miles Per Coffee... add in a slice of cake and I cost the same to run as a supercar!

Currently at 3k on the bike and most of that is commuting. Car mileage for the year is about 9k. Second car is a Land Rover and I think that has done a grand total of 3ft this year

Got made redundant on Friday, so LR will be going at the end of the month

In hindsight, I'm quite pleased I didn't decide to go for the Cannondale SuperSix...
