I don't suppose there's a helpful PHer with a BB90 removal tool around? I need to swap out a crispy BB & don't really want to spend £40 on a one off tool & I know my LBS will charge me about the same price. Happy to pay though for hire & post if anyone can oblige?

Wouldn't you just put a large socket in there with an extension bar and tap it out?

Food for thought. I don't mind walloping the old one out, but the new one is in another frame, so I'm hoping to be...gentle with it. Does the screwdriver not damage things?

I wouldn't use it again

There are vids on how to make a proper flared tool from 1" hollow pipe. Any tool will knacker the BB though I suspect.
