Just about to drain the last few drops from a bottle of Muc Off dry lube. This is the first lube I've used so nothing to compare it with.
Seeing as winter as approaching I'm thinking about getting another bottle of dry (in case we get any dry winter days!) and an additional wet lube.
Before I buy does anyone have any recommendations? I've read good reports of Finish Line and a friend is currently keen on Progold Prolink Extreme.

Chain-L No.5 (I kid you not!!)....
This stuff is an amazing lube, it has quite a thick consistency to it, smells a little like gearbox oil and lasts forever! I have been using it as my wet lube for over a year and cannot recommend it enough, it lasts for ages and keeps the chain silent, there is no reason why you could not use it all year around but I prefer the wax based lubes for the summer.
As it is quite thick I heat the bottle up first by dropping it into a cup of hot water for 5 mins before applying it, then dab a spot on each chain link and leave it for 1/2 hour to soak in, then give the chain a quick rub over with a cloth. A quick google for it will bring back quite a few 4.5/5 - 5/5 reviews.
The only downside is that it is quite difficult to get in the UK, there are two outlets in the UK (Mikes Bike Shop Wales, and Kinoko Cycles) but they are both out of stick at the moment - however you can order online direct from the manufacturer in the US for $20 including the shipping. Sounds a lot but IMHO it is worth it.......

GT85 Every ride. I find wet lubes just turn into rubbing compound as soon as they get some grit on them, and dry lubes are a nightmare to clean off.
For me the benefit of GT85 every ride is that it's a) cheap, b) works, c) spraying it on liberally with the tube every ride also cleans the grit off the chain. The only down side is you have to be careful not to get it onto rotors.

Another vote for Finish Line dry, just a few quick wipes over the chain each week with some baby wipes is all it takes to clean the chain. Used to use a wet lube on the hybrid and was sick of cleaning accumalted black grime off the bike. Heard some people have complained about Finish line dry lube in wet weather, but can't say I've had a problem, not even a squeak.
