There may be a chance that I could get my hands on one of these. Its a limited edition built for the US forces so you can pretty much guarantee there won't be one in the UK. I'm hoping that won't devalue that much.

It's likely to cost around 19k from New inc conversion.
I doubt the residuals will catch up very soon.
Still might go for the RAM or Challenger though, if I do I'll have to go V8.
The Warrior version is a Ford and not dealer version. A normal V6 premium is around 16.5k don't know if it's worth the extra.

Well, I can't get one I'm not in the U.S. military, I'm going to have to be quick if anything else pops up, a k most got an auto V6 for less than 14k (£ Inc conversions) I'm thinking that even if it does lose value because of the rhd Mustang it won't be much considering how much I'm paying.
I am not persuaded that the RHD 2015 Mustang will devalue the 2005=14 cars by a huge amount.
Depreciation has been glacial on these cars and while they inevitably reach a more slippery slope, they retain value better than any European car.
the RHD Mustang looks worse and, even if you don't agree, less "classic". The turbo 4 won't have the allure of a V8, however fast it is and even if it breaks the £285 VED category, it's still a ricer wannabe and you will still be taxing a LHD full fat V8 for less and probably paying less insurance too.
I like Mustangs but am not interested in the 2015. if it becomes a common sight, it will be even less interesting. that said, if it takes sales from the German brands, then more power to its elbow but it will also depreciate at the same rate. Like anything, depreciation is also a function of availability.

I was never a big fan of the new Mustang, although I did see a yellow coupe on the road drive past me a few weeks ago and it looked alright.
I'd be interested in a 11-14 Mustang in the future but what pisses me off is that here in San Diego there are tons of them and usually they are hire cars. Mind you there aren't that many V8 versions.

That warrior mustang is probably available through AAFES. When I was in Kandahar, Afghanistan you could order mustangs to be delivered stateside.
Matt I've heard a lot of controversy on the mustang forums re CAI's and that the stock air filter is superior. Then there's controversy between the k&n co developed with ford racing air filter vs the stock air filter.
I've though about the k&n drop in filter panel until my drivetrain warranty expires. I've just replaced mine with the stock motorcraft filter.

Yes - all the above is correct. The Warrior Edition was a ENCS (AFEES car dealer) exclusive for the US forces. I have sold a few of they (including one that is now running 600hp na!) There was a later Track Pack Edition also.
In relation to 14 prices dropping - a lot of people wee interested in the last live rear axle as it was the last of the true Mustangs. They also carry a Special Edition plate, which will hold value in them too.
Changes were all Ford Parts (ENCS were the guys who commissioned the Oscar Mike Jeep Wrangler fwiw) exhaust, k and n, 19inch wheels, lights, cross member.... and I think that is it
