Hello Guys

I am Dinos, I am new to the forum. I have a Mercedes A170

I need to press the gas slowly slowly until it start moving (take about 12-15 seconds).

Hi

How old is the A170 (must be a W168 pre 2006 model)?
How many miles?
Is it an automatic gearbox or one of those semi-automatic gearboxes with a clutch pedal?
If automatic does the dash come up with an "E" error code when you put it into drive?

Rgds

FWIW my indy's view of those particular A-class auto's is "You don't fix them, you throw them away".

Decent little cars but the CVT auto is something of an achilles heel. It comes down to labour cost vs the value of the car. W169s aren't worth a lot of money these days.

If you decide to buy another the manual is very light to drive.
