Hi Guys

I have been waiting for a transducer for my Tuscan for about 2 months now. In the meantime she runs like a dream bar for the barmy speedo readings....lets just say it would be fair to say that I am getting really good at knowing how quick I am going in what gear by the revs!

Anyway to the point... I have read a few post on this and the Tamora/T350 forum from people with the same problem and they are still waiting for the part too. From what I can gather TVR are designing a new part as the old one was not the most reliable. Has anyone heard when dealers are likely to see this new part?

Like I say, just a niggle and certainly not stopping the grin factor but I'm just curious if anyone else has been sorted yet?

Thanks in advance

Eve

Dont bother waiting for the part.

Mine started giving wild fluctuations upto 200mph for a few weeks, then just stopped altogether for about 2-3 months, then started again periodically for about 2-3 weeks and now works as normal with the odd 'fit' now and again.

My speedo's been non-functioning for around 4 months now. But...the new (improved?) transducers are in stock and the car's booked in for next monday.

my speedo went "off" about 2 weeks ago. Peninsula ordered the part and it was replaced yesterday. no problem there then

New Transducers should be with the dealers now. Mine was working intermittently since I brought the Tuscan in August.
The car went back to the dealers earlier this month for some other work and the day I was due to collect it the new (working) transducers arrived. A new one has been fitted and works perfectly (no doubt it will pack up on the way home now I've said that).

Which dealer are you using cause I'm still being told there's nothing in yet?

Thanks

evostick, I use Kerridges in Needham Market, Suffolk. They had been waiting for the parts since February!

Had my Tuscan for two months now and releived to hear that speedos are dodgy, when approaching 120 mine flips from zero to current speed continually until I drop below 100. Car still under warranty so will drop it into the dealer.
