I have been reading all of the threads on tyres on the main Porsche board, but was looking for a recommendation on tyres for my 2005 Boxster S, which has the standard 18" S alloys.

The car is still running on it's original tyres, which although still have a bit left on them I would like to replace due to their age.

What is everybody else running?

every one runs any thing, you will get 10 people saying the tyre they run.

IF you cannot get PSS in your size I would see if Goodyear make the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 for it and try those.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports or Pilot Sport 2's if the Supers are not available in your sizes. Alternatively, as mrdemon suggests, Goodyear Asymmetric 2's are very good.

Thanks both.

PSS are not available for the smaller front tyres (235/40/18), so I will look at the other two.

Goodyear and Falken 453,s will fit your sizes. The 453,s set for my Cayman were £442 from Mytyres, fitting at local dealer.Performed well on Ring 2day visit.Past experience of Falkens over past 10 years, have proved they are great value.
