After market CNC jockey wheels

The jockey wheels on my dura ace (7800) rear mech were pretty worn so I have replaced them with some bling CNC, sealed bearing ones, as they were cheaper than the real shimano ones. However standard shimano top jockey wheels have built in lateral movement to help get them aligned when shifting. the new ones have no lateral movement, has anyone had any issues with this and does it have a noticable affect on shifting or gear noise? I have only used them for about 20 miles so far, and they seem to inprove the shifthing but it's really too early to tell.

I've got a few sets on the family bikes, all work fine, apart from on my old Diamond Back MTB that I converted into a tourer, that bike will shift on it's own in the middle of the block. The rear mech is twenty years old and maybe a little bit loose on the pivots.

So that's four bikes that work and one that doesn't, and they last about twice as long as the original jockey wheels on my cyclocross bike.

Swapped mine over 3-4 months back. Sram X0 which has crappy OEM wheels.

Other than being slightly noisier there's no real change in the shifting that I've notice. That said, my old set were months past needing changing (looked like throwing stars and you could see the bearings) so it wasn't a great benchmark.

Changed my Dura Ace 9000 Di2 from standard to Hope CNC ones no problems at all just make sure you put them in the right way round i.e.. top one in the top Hope lable them and label the standard ones on the way off the bike so you can refit if needed.
