S3C airflowmeter

Hi
My S3C has been restoring since last year.
I noticed that there is no airflowmeter in my S. I looked ohter S engine bay, I can see airflowmeter at head of air induction hose.
But some S also dosen`t airflowmeter at that place.
Although this may be stupid question,please let me know why and if no airflowmeter,how to control engine managiment?

S3c uses Lambda sensors (you should have one in each exhaust manifold), the non-cat engines use the air flow meter system.

Although I removed both cat to plain pipes,is there any trouble with engine start or idle?
