I suspect Toyota (when they were involved), Honda and maybe Renault have not actually sold a car because of their sponsorship in F1 - fortunately for those who enjoy F1 etc the companies involved state that it helps their engineering development etc, whether that actually justifies in £'s the expense, is IMHO rather doubtful.
