Nope, I think I remember seeing a review in AutoExpress ages ago.

We could play "Spot the parts-bin parts"!

For starters:

Puma headlights
Polo tailights

Paradine 525S... handbuilt, British...by a Scunthorpe based company, run by John Paradine.

£130,000.

4.6 supercharged Mustang V8 mated to a 6 speed box... 525bhp @ 6400rpm, and 624NM torque... at 1350KG that's 388bhp/tonne (100bhp/tonne MORE than a Ferrari Marenello). 0-60 in 3.8secs and 204mph top speed.

British motorshow car had Ford switchgear and centre console (inc radio)...

That's about all I know... (I'll get me coat)

What is it about Scunthorpe? Isn't that where Ginetta are/where based as well?

D'oh....I was sure there was a car company based in Scunthorpe (other than Parradine).

Must brush up on my useless car info knowledge.

They will all be exported to the USA and targeted as a Grand Tourer - excellent carrying capacity due to it's very large trunk.

Cheers,
JSG.

Ginetta were certainly based in Scunthorpe during the 80's and probably before. I'm not sure when they moved, but they were based there in 1988 when I talked to them at the 1988 Motor Show.
