Can anybody post it? I missed it!

Apparently the Evo MR400 was all over it. Regardless I'm still getting one!

Repeated 11:20pm tonight. I missed it too.

Not a bad feature but the TG track is hardly suited to a Murcielago. The Enzo only managed to hit a max of 150 on it so it will always favour lighter more nimble cars.

I suspect a well driven Exige would have been all over the back of the Murcie as well but it was impressive that Clarkson could hustle a professional driver given that he cant drive for toffee himself. It seems to be a car which flatters the driver.

At least the Murcielago was a proper colour!

The EVO is never going to compete on presence though is it? Can't imagine doormen rushing to open the doors for you.

Also worth mentioning that no matter how good a driver the BTCC chappy is/was - it takes quite some time to get used to drive a lambo - a fact borne out by the amount of very good drivers who drove the guest car in the Lambo GTR cup - they nearly all fell off the track very quickly.

It's not that it's difficualt drive - but the handling characteristics are very different to most cars - especially if the car chansing is really a PS2 in drag.....!!!!

Totally agree. The Murci is not a brilliant track car, its a little heavy and the brakes are'nt its best feature so as said before its going to struggle against a whizz/bang car like the Evo. I drove Evo mags Evo in France last week and yea its fun but its above 80-100 that the Murci virtually annialates anything...

hahaha - quality

totally agree with points - even other mid engined cars dont feel that similar - the V12 weight transfer takes a little getting used to in my experience!

I think a few people have learnt the lesson the hard way........ I'd say Anjums word on this can be taken seriously as I don't think there are that many people around with as many Lambo miles under their belt ...

As I'm sure you'll know Mr Nightmare - with your Jota (which spits out unburnt pertol from the exhausts - as I remember when I was at the factory and stood behind being gunned on with my jeans on!!!) - it takes some time to learn how to catch a lambo on the edge - I find 2WD helps a lot - but even the VT's are catchable - as long as you feel what the chassis is doing - tanks slappers are not uncommon.....Mr BTCC applied opposite lock way to late - if he was really trying - he'd be turning in - and out - with an amount of corrective lock to begin with!

hee hee hee!!!!

Hiya Anjum,

you gonna let on what your next toy is yet???

I embarassingly set myself on fire with it a long time ago - I was even trying to be a bit cool at the time - funnily enough someone then shouting 'oi mate your jeans are smoking' really didn't help They've remapped a lot of the jota kits to cut this problem down I think.....was a bit silly but looks cool on overrun!!

Night

p.s. anyone who can catch a diablo once the tail has seriously wagged is pretty damn impressive IMO

well you don't need me to tell you that Anjum doesn't need any bigging up of any kind, but I have witnessed him catch a Diablo, and get it back when I thought it was over, on several occasions (remember that time in Chichester...?)

Yep but Lambo was on loan from private owner Frank Bradley (1 FJB) so top gear were unlikely to be thrashing it. Bet if it had been a factory car the LAMBO would have been well away....

Clanger, is your Lotus orange? If so, I have seen it around a lot, and you live near me.

Best Regards

Well, Frank picked EXACTLY the right colour for his Lambo.

Agreed. Looked stunning in green.

Any news on the new acquisition Johnny?
