M5 tyre pressures
Discussion
Hi all, just wondered what tyre pressures any fellow M5 owners (E39) run?
I've got Pzero rossos on mine and have noticed the rears wearing quite a lot in the centre of the tread, so I thought I must have the pressures too high. Quite the opposite, infact - they were at 2.4psi instead of the recommended 2.6
Not sure what to do, really - i'm not that fussed about the effect on handling (not particularly over-qualified to notice that sort of thing!) but would certainly like to extend the life of the tyres a little!
ps. inner & outer edges have plenty of tread left, so I assume it's not a tracking problem?
pps. changed another rear anti-roll bar bracket this afternoon .. good job they're only £1 from a dealer!

I'm assuming you mean 2.4 / 2.6 Bar not PSI
2.4 bar is 34.8 PSI. I found running the rears at 32 PSI (2.2 bar)cold was the best wear/grip solution.
