Every day when I get in from work I get greeted by Daisy as if she hasn't seen me for weeks, god knows how she would react if it had been 2 years.

Lovely video and just shows how much love dogs have to give.

Well, one of ours went to stay with a friend for a few days. He whined at night and wouldn't eat anything, so we had to go and collect him again... He didn't faint when he saw us though

I have to admit that after a bad day at work, there's nothing better than the welcome our german shepherd gives us.

I wonder why the owner was away from her dog for 2 years.

You should be grateful. Two of mine will follow me around yelling until they get attention. One of my dogs however is a cat in the wrong body and he will sulk off until I've been suitably punished, then he'll come over to demand attention.

There are quite a few videos on Youtube of soldiers being greeted by their dogs after they have been on deployment. Its quite touching.

Our hound went through a period of charging towards me at full pelt and then running back to the house again when ever I got home.

I'm now back to cycling and he runs to the gate when I get home, but I then go and put the bike in the garage and he walks back to the house in a sulk
