Owned my new Boxster S for three weeks tomorrow, haven't been able to wipe the grin off my face yet!
Just found this website and haven't been able to do any work since either!
Any useful advice for a new Porsche owner - clubs etc?

Its true!

I've got my 2nd Boxster S on order at the mo'. You are going to LOVE IT!

Although this site is heavily TVR us UK Porsche owners are well represented...

What region are you in? We often have meets in various bits of the country to enjoy our cars together...sad I know...but who cares!

Have a look at:

www.porscheclubgb.com

Their monthly magazine also lists an insurance broker that can arrange porsche insurance with trackday cover for all Porsche Club GB organised trackdays. In my instance it was the cheapest cover available with a quality insurer, the trackday cover was a bonus which alas I couldn't take up, having taken delivery of my car I found I couldn't fit in it when wearing a crash helmet.

Congrats on the Boxster, this site is pro TVR but we still read the Porsche forums too! Well, I do anyway

I just had my 964 serviced (I still feel the burning)... However more to the point, I had a BoxsterS as a courtesy car for four days and must admit .. I LOVED IT . Drove it to the PCGB (Banham Park) meet the weekend past and had a wonderful time, and fun to drive with the top down too(when the darn thing came out eventually )

Have fun and enjoy your car!

Porsche, Not just a car .... A milestone and measurement of your success!

Don, Sorry I've just realised I didn't get round to replying. I'm down in deepest Cornwall and, looking at a few profiles, it doesn't look as though there are many PHers down this way. Guess I'll just have to put a few miles on the car and head east to a few meetings!
