Bianchi C2C Via Nirone Xenon 2013

Have bought the above (Celeste/white) bike in an attempt to improve my fitness. Never owned a Bianchi before, but have always wanted one.
My choice came down to between the Boardman Road Sport '14 and the Bianchi.

Neither bikes are mega budget carbon framed exotica, but the Bianchi just looked that little bit more special.

Oh, and how is Bianchi pronounced? Bee-an-chee or Bee-an-key or...... as I have heard numerous ways??

Always had a soft spot for Bianchi's since having one as a teenager.

As you say, they just always look that little bit more special than other offerings in the same price bracket, especially when in Celeste.

I have her red sister with Tiagra.
No end of better deals to be had with carbon this or 105 that blah blah, sometimes you have to just realise that a bike is a bike and it's extremely important that it looks gorgeous when not being used.
I will never feel the difference between Tiagra or 105 and at my current performance levels I doubt I'd feel much benefit of Carbon over Aluminum...I love mine, it's actually extremely well made, and has lasted many miles without fault or need for excessive tinkering.
The positives are obvious then...
The negatives? Enduring the torture of having a saddle/bar height relationship that looks anything like the photo
The slow and steady OCD that sets in to try and keep the white bits white....and the rest of it mark free...

Thanks chaps.. I am of the same opinion, unless you have Froome, Wiggins or Contador as your surname, we..or certainly 'I' am unlikely to know the difference.
It's certainly a pretty bike.
