4200 tyre wear

2k miles on the car, rears both 8mm (OK) but fronts 5mm inside and 3mm outside with edges bald. Goodyear Eagle F1.

Anyone had this? Off to the dealer I think.

It is a bit heavy on tyres but the wear you are describing is typical of a geometry problem and should be fixed by the dealer who should also throw in some new tyres.
