BB92 press fit BB

Looking for a bit of PH knowledge. I'm suddenly getting a lot of clicking noises out of my drive train & wonder if anyone running these press fit BB's has any experience of how they behave when failing, before I strip the crank & mech to pieces?

Pretty sure I'm ok on alignment, shifting & chain, so the BB is falling under suspicion.

BB92 is just a pair of bearings pressed in the frame. Nothing fancy. I found on the wifes Cannondale, which had an FSA BB fitted, that there was next to no grease in the bearings on inspection from new, so I packed them with Phil Wood Grease and not ony does it run so much smoother, I hope it will keep the muck and water out.

On reflection & the 20 mile ride I've just finished, I've worked out the front mech is out of adjustment. As you were, men.

That's BB30, a BB92 is usually a resin shell containing the two bearings which is pressed in place into the frame. The bottom bracket standards are so plentiful now it is a potential minefield.
