Considering some Kyserium Elite S wheels.....any views

They seem to be generally well received in the sub £500 bracket and generally come as a wheel tyre set for around £460-480.
Has anyone any experience of these wheels.

Aerodynamic advantage?
Light weight?
Price/value?
Warranty?

What are your riding objectives: sportives, group riding and training, TTing?

I know a good few that have, and whilst they are generally pleased, they seem to have recurrent issues with freehubs. And parts backup is dire.

Aero is not at the top of my list, sportive based and club riding is where I am. I have Campag vento's at the moment, the rear hub bearing is worn out so I'm using that as a reason to upgrade.
If anyone else has any suggestions at a similar price point I'm happy to hear any views

The go to wheel whenever anyone looks at upgrades. Fulcrum 3 offer same stiffness and weight advantage for less money. Campag Zonda same as Fulcrum 3 I think for even less money.

My Kysrium SL's have done over 30k miles, in that time 2 spokes have gone pop, I've never had to have the freehub looked at & the braking surfaces still have life in them. They've even been used for the odd cyclocross race, winter bike training duties for the last few years. I've been very pleased with mine, light, robust & still clean up rather well.

I previously had some older Ksyrium Elites and now have some Ksyrium SLs. I actually wish id kept the Elites as they were good all round wheels which I could ride all the time and still use for racing whereas I dont use the SLs much beyond racing.
Alternatives maybe some Fulcrums as suggested already or Shimano RS81s.

I bought a set last year and quite like them. I found the original tyres lacked grip in damp/wet conditions, so they were quickly swapped. The freewheel is loud - you may or may not like that.

My experience is exactly the opposite in terms of noise. My freehub is the quietest I've ever owned on a rear wheel .... its almost silent.

To the OP, go for it ... I've just sold a pair as I've gone for some aero wheels and needed to rid myself before my Mrs discovered them. A very solid feeling wheel that roll well ... comfortable and feel unbreakable (i'm sure they're not) but the tyres are average at best, although they'll do until you wear them out. I did suffer from a lot of punctures with the Mavic tyres ...
