Eastway FB3.0 - what mudguards?

Evening all.
I've just pulled the pin so to speak and purchased a brand new Eastway FB 3.0 for my commute to and from work (22mile round trip).
My current 'winter hack' is a Specialized Allez Elite 2013. I actually got this from a guy at work who didn't get on with it after four rides. I picked it up super cheap but took a compromise on the frame size, being a 56cm. Usually I'm a 58-60cm. This is the main reason for the swap but there are others too, such as hydraulic disc brakes are better for winter abuse. A more relaxed ride for the wet and windy days. Plus on the C2W scheme and the sale price it'l end up costing me around 390quid!!!!
Anyway, I digress, the main reason for posting, other than a bit of picture whoring is that I want some advice regarding mud guards on a hybrid bike, 700c wheels with hydraulic disc brakes. I want something super slim and lightweight ie Crud road racer mk2'. However, the issue I'm having is finding something that will fit that doesn't require mounting to a rim brake calliper.
The Allez I'm running has some SKS race blades. These won't fit the Fb3. I don't think they will be suitable due to the mounting position on the fork and the disc calipers being in the way. The crud's need a rim caliper to cable tie to.
What is everyone else doing?
