Getting hold of Bayern Munich tickets?
Discussion
Apparently they sell out at the beginning of the season, assumingly to fans of theirs and the only way to get them is via Viagogo when the fans put them on there if they can't go.
You can register on there if possible and login as this page instructs you to

If it comes up in German in the top left it can be changed to English.

Tickets are extremely difficult to source - and there are rarely any touts outside the ground, and of course you need to speak German to recognise who they are. Viagogo is the most often used method - although tickets are not cheap, but then they aren't at face value either.
I'm fortunate in that I have a contact in the game who can sort me out - we typically sit in seats at the front of the press box..

And get to go into the post-match press conference/hospitality - this was Munich/Leverkusen towards the end of last season..

You can't spend cash inside the stadium either - you need to purchase a pre-paid Allianz card (which you can do for cash at a number of stalls in the stadium), which you then use for food/beer, etc. Stadium is a way out of the city centre, but right next to Frottmaning on the U6 line, so easy to get to.
Getting to/from the airport is a doddle too. The MVV Companion App (free from Playstore) works brilliantly and is invaluable for travelling in/around Munich. WWW.Muenchen.de is a great website.
It's a brilliant city and fabulous ground (atmosphere is amazing, normal Bundesliga games are like UK Cup Finals) - we're back again soon.
If I can help with any other info, let me know

Just be careful about TV timings - BM are a very popular team of course and as such a number of their games tend to televised - which means match timings can change. I think they've confirmed televised games for the first 5 games or so of the season so far, which probably means the September game is set by now.
EasyJet from Stansted makes a Saturday round trip, ahem, easy - with enough time for a beer/sightseeing (you have to get to MarianPlatz to take the U6 anyway) before/after the game. DO NOT try Ryan Air into Memmingen - it's 130km/couple of hours away from Munich.
Get a single day travel card - unlimited travel on MVV network at €12, kids tickets cheaper. Gets you to/from Airport (about 45 mins) and then around the network as you wish. There are two options from the airport - use S8 direction Herrsching, which may take you directly to Marienplatz, or you may need to change at Leuchtenburg, as some S8s terminate there.
