To be fair the hammerings by Liverpool, Chelsea and City were pretty extraordinary. No wonder they'll use it as a marketing tool. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxPmKcIH8rk
With that said, the few matches I've seen on BT they've liked to stick the dagger in at every oppurtunity.

It's a poor marketing strategy. They've successfully alienated the supporters of the third biggest club in the country. I like a laugh but this is a poor stunt, I won't subscribe the BT Sport and neither will I watch any games they broadcast.
I agree & the civil mannered goons at work said exactly the same thing today.I bet if it was Liverpool being aired getting a shoeing there would be all kinds of hell let loose , Could you imagine the Liverpool thread on here if the rolls were reversed ?

Wow. Who cares . Move on - it's an advert, that's all. It is not anti Arsenal at all.
If you want to take it out on someone, write to your players and manager for giving them that advert.

What a ludicrous comment. We've had many difficult days in recent seasons we don't need a national broadcaster to remind us. As a broadcaster they should remain impartial. They've demonstrated the exact opposite by rubbing the faces of Arsenal fans in it not once but twice.
I haven't seen Sky resort to such tactics to promote their product.

Seriously - it's an advert highlighting that they showed games last year which had action and upsets in it. It just so happened that the particular game was Chelsea vs Arsenal. How else could they have demonstrated that ?
You need to go grow thicker skin.

Are you trying to suggest the only way they could market their football coverage was to show Arsenal getting humiliated not once but twice? Is that a balanced and fair marketing strategy? I think not, if it was your club you may think differently.
I'm entitled to my view. You may consider it ridiculous and maybe it is but it's my only my view.

It is your view, sure. But I can guarantee you, on my mothers life, that if the same thing had happened to Chelsea I wouldn't give a fig. Bigger things in life to get upset about than football,
Of course there are more important things in life to get upset about, I didn't suggest anything to the contrary. Alfahorn said:

It's a brilliant marketing strategy. Regardless of the clubs the advert is well produced and definitely gets the message across. It's controversial so it's being talked about - I've seen plenty of tweets about it as well as chatter on forums.
I highly doubt many Arsenal fans will care so much as to cancel their contracts (if they can) or go with Sky instead. I can't even remember what happens in the Sky advert!

Oh I agree its a poor strategy. To make two adverts about the hammerings is ridiculous. No need for that at all IMO. Surely Uniteds season was far more extraordinary? I don't see an advert about that ...

king annoying "ACTIVATESS5" text on the bloody screen?? (Without of course activating the ruddy thing given that I detest football....)
