Isle of Man Lighthouse Challenge - anyone done it?

We're off to the Isle of Man in a weeks time and plan to follow the Lighthouse Challenge route - anyone got an hits or tips?

The plan is to cycle from Cheshire to Liverpool, catch the ferry then cycle south round the island to Peel and carry on the following day up north and then catch the ferry back and cycle home - should be around 100 miles per day. Really looking forward to it.

Did it in 2012 in pretty windy conditions combined with constant rain. Have ridden the route subsequently in better conditions and it's a great ride. Thoroughly recommend it.
