Its my 1st sportive and looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

Yep, I am in for the 85 miler. Will be 92 by the time I ride in and out too. Have a contractor doing the 125 miler. |Told him to find someone else to talk to !!

Yup. I'm doing it with a couple of friends. We are doing the 44m. This is my fourth Wiggle Sportive and I've enjoyed all but the rain soaked new forest one last year.

Doing the 82mile route with 18 ex colleagues.

2 of whom are doing 50 miles there and then 50 back home (rat race training)!

Sorry for the slow reply chaps.

I'm doing the short route, haven't had a great winter of riding so thought I'd go for this option.

I want to do the 80 mile new forest event in October which is a bit flatter than this course.

Me and my lad were supposed to be doing the full 125 miles. But I've had some injury problems and he's had work getting in the way so we're going to bottle it and do the 82 miler instead.
Really looking forward to it.

Guess I'll have to look out for the PH shirts. I dont have one, but will be in a luminous yellow and black top, with luminous yellow diadora shoes, so if the sun sods off, i'll light the world around.

I did pretty much the 83 mile route a few weeks ago when I went down that way to visit an old colleague.

I am signed up for the 85 miles, but have not been on the bike in weeks, so will be chickening out and doing the short one instead.

PH Shirt will be in attendance, it will be easy to spot me chugging very slowly up the hills.

I haven't got a PH top, it's been a while since I've dipped my toe into pedal powered and hadn't realised that the tops had been made.

Good luck for tomorrow, I'll be on a white Giant Defy, light blue Nike t shirt. Very powerfully built (fat) & shaved head (balding). No directorships or goatee unfortunately though. I'll keep a look out for the PH jerseys when you pass me on the 1st climb

Bikes ready, jellies babies purchased, rain jacket hanging on the bike. A mate has decided he wants to join in, so will go down for 7am to try and get on the ride. He hasn't ridden his road bike for years. In fact he has just found a buckled seized back wheel and has borrowed a friends. So don't expect any epic times from me and him for Sunday.

New chain and cassette swapped around. I have even bought some gels, off to get a few bananas and Haribo bears now! Still nit sure if it will be dry or not.

If it's as hot as today then I can imagine it will be tough. I did 60 miles around Salisbury Plain with not a lot of climbing and it was pretty sweaty.

Last year I had 34 deg on my computer and people were wilting in the heat. I hope the weather will be good.
