I have a complete porsche clubsport cage for a 996 GT3. Bought new from Porsche and test fitted only. Has a DMSB / FIA certificate.
No idea if it fits the 997. Harnesses fit in a different place to the 997 cage (shorter, to the cross bar at the main hoop rather than on the rear strut tie ins).

Yes. It's the factory bolt in cage (front and rear sections). There's also a tequipment cage that fits to the seatbelt mounting positions. The clubsport cage is not that. If you google them the difference between the two should be easy enough to see and let you check which type you were looking for.
This is what the clubsport option factory cage looks like.

The front section can be left out or installed depending on preference.
The tequipment harness bar that bolts to the seatbelt mounting points looks like this

Which type are you trying to track down? Both are Porsche original. The latter was available as an accessory, the first as part of the clubsport packages with new GT3s (or available via ordering from the parts dept).

996 original cages are becoming very rare, I'm searching for a rear one for my 996.2 comfort spec GT3. One day I'll find one.
