Which would you choose and why?

Done a deal with the Multistrada and leaning towards the Tiger but just wanted to be sure!

Help..............

TDMs are no longer listed by Yamaha. Bit of a something or nothin' bike, I don't think they really caught on. If you are looking at a Tiger look also at BMW R1200GS or the R1150GS Adventure. Better off road and more reliable than the Multistrada. Nice looking bike though. BMW are really good for test rides. All the dealers have most models for you to try

Disagree, I had a TDM (albeit an 850) and was one of the best bikes I've owned. Excellent commuter, ground the hero blobs to dust and started on the pegs.

Then I hit some diesel on a roundabout and binned it

Tried the BMW option but these bikes are in short supply and so can't get either a decent price for the Ducati, or a BMW before February.

Planning to buy the Tiger or TDM tomorrow!

Since I don't do off-road riding, except by accident, thought either the TDM or Tiger would be a better everday bike than the Multistrada.

Dealer far more local too...

Btw. the gearbox in my T595 (which I bought after the TDM) eat itself.

Go for the Tiger then I reckon it'll hold it's value better than a TDM now they've been discontinued.

I've had several Tigers. Brilliant bikes. Also much more powerful than TDM (or the BMW). BMW is good but Tiger much better value at the minute and it comes with hard luggage and heated grips.

Yep £6,999 incl side panniers, heated grips, centre stand, 12 months tax and 2 years warranty.

Sounds good to me too!

I've been seriously considering the Tiger and the GS as the sensible options when I decide to get rid of my TLS. Let us know how you get on!

Well looked at both the Tiger and TDM.

Really wanted the Tiger but couldn't get my legs comfie and felt that I was sitting on top of it, rather than a part of it.

The TDM felt more comfortable but rather bland looking,

So starting again with BMW options.

The BMW 1200GS is so popular that there's a backlog until Feb/March.
