Looking at potential 986 Boxster S ownership and struggling to find anyone up here who would be willing to replace the small, single-row IMS bearing.

I've phoned SP Autobahn and Motortune but neither are interested. Seems odd to me considering I wouldn't have thought it'd be that much more hassle on top of a clutch change.

Any suggestions please?

Found some joy with George Morrison Motors in Glasgow, sounds like he knows his stuff and didn't rush me on the phone. If anyone has any other suggestions or experiences with George then fire away.

There's an amateur enthusiast with the kit in boxa.net who will rent you the tools to do it.

Thanks but think I'd be leaving this to someone who knew what they were doing...
