Campag front mech help.

Why is it on the eve of a big event do mechanical issues rear their ugly head?

I've a campag Athena 11 speed setup with FSA cranks. I've had 1500 trouble free miles until now.

The front mech does not want to move to it's correct limit screw position, when it the lowest sprocket the rubbing noise is infuriating. I can push the mech the extra mm requiresd it just doesn't want to sit there on it's on accord.

Very frustrating as it was working so well, it's fully internal cable routing so not easy to tweak cable by hand.

Squirt some WD40 on to the pivot points & wiggle it about to free it up then finish off with a tiny drop of lube on each pivot.

I have Athena 11 and had the same issue, it was a little bit of cable stretch. Easily fixed by re-adjusting the front cable, don't be tempted to start faffing around with the stop screws or you will cause yourself a world of pain!!
