I was there yesterday in my PH colours . I'm afraid I didn't see this post until I got back though.

A good event, well organised and tough enough to be a proper challenge! I can feel it in my knees today mind!

Hi, think we exchanged waves! Another great day blessed with fortunate weather. Hope the rider just over hardknott was ok, looked nasty. Fortunately the rescue guys were with them and had loaded them on to a stretcher. It must have been bad luck as there were plenty of mashalls on the decents advising people to take it easy. Happy with my time of just over 10 hours, would have been quicker if I'd sorted my fueling out and had a deraileur faff at the foot of a climb resulting in a bent hanger.

Were you in the RAF jersey? If so then yes we did at the top of one of the many hills as I was waiting for a friend of mine to catch up...
That's a good time indeed, well done that man! I'm looking forward to having a crack again next year...
I didn't see there had been an accident on the descent, I hope the chap's ok.
