S2 ignition coil recommendation
Discussion
Hi all,
Just about returned for a 150 mile run out and my S2 started to hesitate just like it did last year which was fixed when I replaced the ignition coil, my local auto factors didn't have one that matched the numbers on the Alternative parts list so supplied me with a Intermotor branded one.
I have just checked the resistance and although the secondary reading is 8580 which sits between 7500-9500 as per Steve Heath my primary value of 0.8 isn't between the 1.1-1.3 recommended value.
If any of you have replaced your coil recently and you please advise as to which one you purchased and where please.
I'm hoping it is the coil again as it's an easy fix although I could be looking at the AFM, the ignition module or any of the many other electrical components.
Thanks in advance all.
