New Tyres????

Hi Guys. Had my Tuscan for nearly a year and about to get 4 new tyres. Anyone got suggestions?? The car currently has 225/35/18 on the front and 255/35/18 on the rear but some are suggesting putting the wider wheels on all 4. Does this cause rubbing at all or have any benefits of better grip? Be great to have some opinions.

235/40/18 on the front made a big difference to my car, it was not as nervous. I have 255/35/18 on the rear

I have 235/40's front & 255/35's rear. Went to a TVR guy near York last week & nearly all the cars he had in were running 225/35's front & 255/35's rear. He told me not to go wider than 235 on the front as they tramline too much & knackers the handling.

Changed my rears last week, 255/35 18 Toyo T1 sports £130 each fitted :-)

My car had 225/35 R18 on the front didn't like these tyres one bit. Makes the car very skittish and crashes over bumps. Might be good on track but rubbish on roads.

I swapped to original size 235/40 R18 these feel much better. I went with Toyo's.

I have toyo t1 sport, I think they do the job nicely

I'd go with 40 profile on the front, either 225 or 235/40 with 255/35 on rear.

After rave reviews on here, I fitted some rear vredestein sessanta earlier this week. So far so good!

Thanks guys, seems like 235/40 on the front and 255/35 rear seems the way to go. Gonna order them up tonight and we'll see next week. Thanks for your Help!
