Beasty - are you tempted to extend the warranty? I'm interested because I'm coming up to that point and am weighing up paying lots of £££'s to extend vs. just risking it and using an outfit like Verdi's if anything does goes wrong. Having had a fairly troublesome electrical gremlin sorted under warranty I'm in two minds.
I'll get a quote to extend the warranty, but it excludes so much, I'm not convinced (although they are forking out for a new raditator (£1,000)). I'll give Verdis a call at some point, but will run the exisiting clutch until it becomes a serious issue.
Has anyone actually used Verdi?

Horses for courses really. A turbocharged engine has a more sudden power delivery and needs a very competent clutch.
The 3200 has a "pull" clutch rather than the more common "push" variety precisely because they are ultra heavy duty. Also means they are more expensive and given the silly price of the 3200 components compared to Ferrari, probably means they only fit that model therefore limited production.
Hope this helps

How much did the clutch cost? I have made enquires about prices from Maranello's and Verdi and it varies considerably. Also they would not give a definite price as it depends on whether it requires clutch plate / bearing/ flywheel.
I cannot believe that anyone would even consider fitting less than all 3 parts (ie Cover, Centre plate and thrust bearing), less still supposed experts. What the hell is the point of paying circa £800 labour (based on Eurospares / Moda prices) to remove the gearbox, fit the clutch component(s) and refit the gearbox? The work is identical whether you replace any 1 or all 3 so if another part fails you go through the same routine AND money a second time. As for the "flywheel" needing replacement, that is actually a 4th part and only extreme scoring or cracking would render it unfit - Most unusual if you replace the other units at the first sign of slippage.
Sorry but IMHO it just is not worth fitting less than all 3, period.
