I think it's repeated tonight about 730pm? He really gives it some stick it has to be said.I still question how much the normal owner is going to get out of the various settings etc - my Gallardo thinks that leaving the Royal Borough is an adventure.

I was very impressed with both the car and his driving!

Interesting comparison in speed at various points on the circuit with the different settings seleced.

The interior looks fantastic as well.

Does it have a setting for that

And would a setting for "Brixton" include quicker throttle response, raising electric windows and locking the doors

Fantastic car but I have to say I think it looks ugly from the front. The air intakes (whilst obviously necessary) look too big.

Its an uglier car front on than the 360 which was no oil painting itself.

That aside it is an awesome car and seems to have moved the game on another notch from the Gallardo.

Tiff is driving the Ford GT next week.

Absolutely sensational, as ever (although Tiff's drive of the F360 in it's pre-launch day seemed to be slightly more sideways!)

Thought the Mosler looked like a blast, also.

Looks Fantastic, but the price is now so high that its pushed it past the mental 100K barrier that, even if i had the money, I would'nt spend on a car (Don't hold me to that)

Its just too much money!

I wonder if it's more expensive in relative terms to what the 355 was back in '96?

What do you think?

The 355 was about £82K in 96.. The 430 is about 117K?

So if you assume average 3% inflation smoothed out then that means that the 355 if it was new today would cost a theoretical 108,942 pounds....

in 1999 a 355gtb was 103k so i dont think its dear another 15k for a new model 5 years later with loads of gismos on it

If you compare the price of a new F430 with a 360 CS then it looks like a bargain.

I think 360 CS's will loose a fair chunk of cash over the next year.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find themselves looking forward to 5th Gear and almost forgetting about Top Gear the previous night? Cracking report from Plato and a superb car....

v12v8... i think the producers have realised there IS a market for a car show with gorgeous cars in gorgeous locations with gorgeous drivers like VBH!

It's just a bitch that i'm always out on a monday night! Off to Wapping drinks tonight so can't see it then either!

It's not just you Nick. Although I will always try to watch both programmes, I prefer 5th gear.

Rico, get a cheap video recorder, no need to miss anything then.

As much as the 430 looked a great car performance wise, my money would still be buying a red 360 CS with stripe and STEEL brakediscs even though it probably doesn't make financial sense to buy the older car.
