Porsche Museum, Stuttgart

Anyone been to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart ?
Worth doing & how many hours to see it all ?

Definitely worth a visit. I'd say maybe 3-4 hours, they have good audioguide in English which is worth taking.

You could spend half a day easily. Depends how much you are into Porsche. Get the audio guide as it makes a big difference. Remember it is closed on a Monday.

Mercedes Benz museum is worth a visit whilst in the area.

Both the museums are excellent, also if you have time, try to fit in visits to Neuschwanstein Castle and Heidelberg.

Cheers guys, heading to the Black Forest on a biking holiday in 6 weeks time so I've set aside an afternoon to have a look around.

Also depending on the route you're taking there's the Sinsheim and Speyer museums near Frankfurt.
I visited all five plus the castle last month.

Definitely worth going to I'd say and give yourself 3-4 hours as mentioned above. Click on the photo for a few pics from when I went a couple of years ago.



Even more impressive was the Mercedes museum also in Stuttgart but you'd probably need a couple of days there and still not see it all. Just awesome.
