Back on the bike after 6 weeks - things to check?
Discussion
After my first winter ride today.... I would suggest chacking your bollocks haven't frozen off when you return should be numero uno priority.
That's it, I'm going back to fair weather riding
Tyre pressures, oil level, brakes and lights. You'll know within the first couple of miles if she's alright just by feel. It's cold and slippery out there, keep that hernia wrapped up

]Bike has been sitting dormant in the back garden for about 6 weeks.
After charging the battery and having to bump start it, it seems to run ok.
What things should I be looking over and double checking after the bike has been sitting for this length of time?[/quote]
Think back to CBT, if you ever did it! Brief summary:
BOLTSS
Brakes - operation, fluid levels
Oil - oil level, chain lube, coolant
Lights - operation, cleanliness, battery
Tyres - correct pressures, damage etc
Steering - Free movement lock to lock
Suspension - no leaks, correct operation
