On another forum that I am on, a great thread is continuing about what you are listening to in the car. Now the rule has to be that it is what you last listened to in the car, and not what you think is cool. Oh and what car it was in . Now we all know we have great taste in cars but can we match it with Music?

Here goes

Maserati 3200 gtm
Francis Dunnery - Man
Keane - Hopes & Fears.

So who has Cliff Ricahrd & and Enzo ?

Ian

If you haven't already, get hold of the Linkin Park/Jay-Z mashup album (called Collision Course)

Got to take it back to the classics here:

Mobb Deep - Survival of the Fittest
BIG - Gimme the loot,Warning - any Ready to Die track.

Never been a drum & Bass fan but being away from home so much there is nothing else that reminds me of London more than a heavy bassline and sharp snare. Bought a load of cds in Thailand (orignals officer) and I have everything on the old ipod when I need some inspirational fast driving music.

Well done that man on the EPMD by the way!

The Numb/Encore single is good, the 6 track/DVD album (called Collision Course) is good, the Jigga What/Faint and Points Of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer tracks are probably my fav. from the album.

Oh Yes Big T - Hip hop till I Die!
Grew up on it and still love it.
a lot of crap about though i must admit - most of the releases seem the same today (do i sound old !!!)

used to go to Soul 2 soul at Brixton Fridge (friday nights) back in the day !

living in sussex i go to Brighton for my fix now !
good hip hop base there - some good acts as well.
Im tending to go back to underground now as bored with the comercial side of the music e.g Puffy, P diddy etc...
EPMD, Ice Cube, NWA, KRS 1, BDP and of course Public Enemy .

check out "bearshare.com" for good downloads.

Hi guys. There is a lot of commercial trash out there like 50 cent & all that, however, I have been listening to a US rapper - Immortal Technique, he is excellent. I reccommend listening to his albums. Also have you heard of Lewis Parker? He is English and the music is quite chilled however very clever.

Cheers

50 is ok - i like some of his music.
eminem does my head though.
one good track then a load of pop music. but hey he's making millions so good luck to him.

personally i think the pop stuff he sells is crap but every other 3rd track is excellent.

like the bad boys 2 soundtrack though - love jay z - always releasing something different. quality.

As your a Jay Z fan have you heard the Grey Album? It's quite hard to find in the shops but it's Jay Z over the beatles tunes. It's excellent.

I think some of the 50 cent stuff is ok too, though some of it is a little too violent I think.
