Here you go

F1 regulations said:
The power unit is deemed to consist of six separate elements, of which five of each are available to each driver per season before they are penalised. The elements are the engine, the motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K), the motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H), the energy store (ES), turbocharger (TC) and control electronics (CE). Should a driver use more than five of any one component he faces a penalty ranging from a five-place grid drop, a 10-place grid drop, or (if the entire power unit has to be changed) starting the race from the pit lane.

[quote= or (if the entire power unit has to be changed) starting the race from the pit lane .
Doing this for a bottom team looks worthwhile if there are double points available at the last race.

Was it the 4th engine or part of the powertrain? Also what happened to the freeze date for updating the engine and the big upgrade Renault were supposed to have done for the last race? I presume it must have been legal since no one has complained.

Certain upgrades are allowed in season.

And reading between the lines, most of Renaults problems are more down to mapping and software calibration - when the brakes need to ramp up to offset the lack of harvesting and via versa, when the battery power should be deployed, and how much in line with the ICE etc... With it all misconfigured, it's sounds like it's a bit of a mission to drive smoothly, especially on the brakes if you don't know when you're going to get some harvesting and when you're not.

The 90bhp quotes has to be with the ES, or the MGU-K but no doubt there's some software to sort out how it's routed and deployed which would help.
