Removal of front shocks on a 2001
Discussion
I am about to change the front shocks (as a follow up to the rears I've just changed), and so far I have done the following...
I've removed the front caliper and discs as I'm getting them skimmed.
I have removed the top and bottom bolts that hold the shocker in place...but the shocker will not simply lift out from between the top and bottom wishbones.
Do I have to part remove one of the two wishbones to allow the extra space, or the top bush from the top of the hub...or am I missing something else completely obvious?
Don't want to remove anything that may ultimately alter any of the geometry as this was set up not that long ago.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If I remember correctly the shocks should now just lift out, you might need to assist them along with the help of a rubber mallet, give them a whack. I replaced the bushes, ball joint and track rod ends when I replaced mine but they should be able to come out without taking each corner apart.
