Does anyone know of a good (mobile) alloy refurbishment/repair company in SW London/Surrey area? I seem to remember Autocar recommending someone but cannot recall the name. Many thanks.

The Chips-Away guy in Guildford did a pretty good job on the wheels on our TT - laquered ones too!

I've used chips-away. very good, will do a cheap deal if you're nice! he's also used by a lot of the franchised outfits as a sub-contractor

Just dont trust back-street garages. A certain nasty Scottish dealer damaged my wheels, and after some amount of persuation decided to re-furbish the damage. Turns out they were repaired at some "shed" in deepest Rurtherglen. Nice.

Did a truly awful job, but frankly its not worth the bother of further complsaints!

I have just looked at the Wicked wheels website. Has anyone used the chap in the Cambridge area? They just have an office number quoted. It's always reassuring if someone else has actually had work done by that particular person,
I have scrapped the front nearside Alloy on my Tamora.
18" spider wheel in Anthracite.
Done it taking my old boy down to get some chips from the chipshop. Thay will teach me to pose!!
I understand they may be comming to Mania at Duxford on the 10th Aug. Will probably wait and talk to him then.
