Tuscan Dimensions
Discussion
TVR did a 'brochure' for the 1988 Tuscan Convertible, when it was shown as a road-going car at the Motor Show. Needless to say, I have one and here are the specs...
Length 3937 mm 155"
Wheelbase 2336 mm 92"
Height 1184 mm 46.6"
Width 1740 mm 68.5"
Track 1482 mm 58"
Wheels OZ racing 8J x 15
Tyres 225/50 VR15
My own car came with 18" wheels and 235/35 tyres as was the case with the 2003/2004 specification race crs. Neil Anderson told me that he felt the cars handled better on 16" rims, but what does he know??

Measured using a tapemeasure, so maybe a few cm out. Close as I can judge though....
length=400cm
width at read wheel arches (which looks the widest bit)=172cm
wheelbase=234cm
track - mine is off the ground on axle stands, so the suspension is 'down', plus taking into account the camber, the distance from the outside edge of the contact patch at the top of the front wheels is 158cm, and 172cm at the bottom of the wheels.
now you'll have to do a bit of maths mine is on axle stands, and the chassis between the front wheels is 49cm off the ground. I beleive this is the part of the chassis that the minimum ground clearace is measured from. Don't know what it should be though, probably something in the region 10-15cm though. So, with the chassis 49cm off the ground, its 150cm to the top of the hoop on the rear roll cage. Hmmm.... that seems a bit low...I'll measure again at lunch time.
The slicks are marked 250/640R18. I also have road tyres on another set of rims, with 245/35 18 fronts, and 255/35 18 rears.
